Skip to main content- Creating an orderWhile most orders connect automatically from your connected sales channels to BladePRO, you'll sometimes need to create orders manually. This article shows you how to create a new order directly in BladePRO.
- Understanding order statusesAll orders in BladePRO are assigned a status depending on what stage they are at in the warehouse cycle. You can locate a specific order from the Orders page.
- Finding an order in the Orders pageQuickly locate specific orders in BladePRO using the Quick Search bar or advanced filtering options.
- Adding preparation guidelines to ordersPreparation guidelines are instructions given to despatchers to help communicate specific requirements for an order such as fragile handling, gift wrapping, or custom packaging.
- Adding a Booking-in Required tag to an orderWhen working with a third party, you might need to provide a Booking-in reference and delivery date prior to despatch. If so this needs to be flagged in BladePRO to prevent delays and unexpected costs.
- Updating the shipping address for an orderAddress Lookup helps you to find complete shipping addresses using partial information, allowing you to fix invalid addresses that are blocking your orders from processing. This article covers manually changing a shipping address and using the Address Lookup.
- Changing a warehouseYou can change the warehouse fulfilling your order if you need to redirect shipments from a different location, or when your preferred warehouse is unavailable.
- Splitting a shipmentSplitting a goodsout shipment is the process of dividing an order into separate shipments. This may be required if not enough stock is available in a single warehouse for an order.
- Adding attachments to an orderSome products automatically upload documents to an order automatically when they are added to an order, but in some cases you’ll need to upload attachments them manually.
- Adding and creating tagsTags and attributes help to classify and categorise orders in BladePRO. They can be used to flag specific features about an order and filter searches in the Order List page.
- Adding attributesAttributes are specific characteristics, traits or data points that help to further identify and categorise an order, such as if the composition of the order is of single, double or mixed SKUs.
- Manually holding/unholding an orderHolding an order pauses it from moving forward in the warehouse cycle. Orders can be placed on hold or taken off manually if required.
- Managing order timelinesThe order timeline tracks every update to an order as it moves through your warehouse workflow. You can view the complete history of an order, filter to find specific information, and add your own messages to maintain a clear record of order handling.
